Merry Christmas

If they were mine alone to tell, the blessings of abound.
I would surely cast one across to you.
But what good is that which comes by way,
Of human folly and conjecture.
If not the breath of divine life,
Then emptiness rests behind words.

But instead I bow down and allow the one,
Who’s day is here to stay.
Who’s humility is my foiled aim.
To cast his favor upon you.
To cast his joy into you.
This Christmas day.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
